Hourly Rate

I recommend that initially you purchase no more than 3-5 hours of my time. If you have ancestors of any distinction – or notoriety! – at all, I will be able to accomplish a reasonable amount within that time, and will also be able to advise you on what other avenues of research are most likely to yield positive results within a sensible time. Please be aware that in some circumstances (such as illegitimacy or emigration), a trail may prove impossible to follow. If this happens, you will only be charged for the work I have already done.

£19.00 (1-5 Hours, payable in advance)
£17.00 (6-10 hours, 50% payable in advance)
£16.00 (10 hours plus, 50% payable in advance)

Census printouts, Parish Register and other Photocopies, etc. are charged at their actual cost to me in addition to the fixed or hourly fee.
